Thing 9
I have accounts with all of the social media platforms listed for Thing 9. I check out what's happening with friends and family via Facebook phone app on a regular basis. I keep in touch with professional colleagues via LinkedIn but until now I didn't have the app on my phone. Thanks for the prompt because this will definitely help me stay more current. I have Twitter and Google Plus accounts but rately use either of them.
Thing 8
Using presentation apps
First I tried installing Prezi because I really like the look of presentations done in Prezi. Unfortunately, it's not available on iPhone--only iPad. I decided then to use google slides. I made a quick slideshow with pictures I took this Christmas on my phone. Using the app on my phone made it super easy to use the pictures on my phone. Jazzing up the presentation with color and design was very frustrating and in fact I got nowhere with it. But, I can see the value of using this in mobile form as it is a quick and easy way to show things.

Thing 7
Pinterest Confession
Years ago a coworker told me about Pinterest. It was so new that when I registered I was put in a queue to have my registration confirmed and okay-ed because they were only accepting a limited number of users. Eventually I received word that I had been accepted. I poked around a little but honestly didn't see the point of it.
However many years later, everyone is on Pinterest and I can hardly search for an image or recipe without finding myself linked to a pin or a board. Yet, other than as a consumer (i.e. using other people's pins and boards) I've never gotten into it.
In the spirit of discovery and growth, I'm giving it another try and approaching it with a fresh perspective. Using the app on my phone makes it extremely convenient and a ton of friends and family are now a part of it so it is fun to see their content. I started a board with appetizer recipes since it's the holiday season and I find myself searching for recipes a lot. I have a feeling I could spend a lot of time on Pinterest.
Thanks for the nudge!

Thing 6
The self-assured fingerprint expert watered the lawn close to a broken refrigerator during the party for the deadly frog. He saw something shimmering in the grass. He looked closer and found a badge that said "Rock you device!" He wondered, whatever could that mean? Later, he went to the party for the deadly frog and saw several people with the same badges. He wasted no time on fingerprints. He simply asked why everyone was wearing these badges.
"19 Mobile Things" is what he heard. CONGRATS TO ALL OUR BADGE EARNERS!
